Club Car signs new agreement with Houghwood Golf
Club Car, recognised industry leaders and Preferred Supplier of the EGCOA, has won a new account to become the exclusive supplier of golf & utility vehicles to Houghwood Golf in St.Helens. This is a significant coup for Club Car as they take over the account from one of their largest competitors.
A splendid parkland golf course situated in a prime location just minutes from both the M6 and M58, it offers picturesque views of the Lancashire plains and Welsh hills. Primarily designed to offer a service to golfers of all levels, it is lined with wide fairways and receptive greens which provide a good test of golf, without spoiling the enjoyment of the round.
Peter Turner the Managing Director of Houghwood Golf was instrumental in bringing Club Car to the venue, commented "we are delighted to have Club Car as our official supplier of golf & utility vehicles. As a club that prides itself on providing a personal but professional service to its members, guests and clients, we couldn't be happier to have a company of that calibre on board."
Houghwood has taken on a Club Car fleet of 32 Precedent golf cars beginning on the 25th May 2010, all of which are customised with the clubs name and crest on the bonnet. The Precedent which has earned numerous industry accolades and inspired imitation industry-wide, features the ExcelTM Electric Drive System, the most advanced electric platform Club Car has ever built. It continues to raise the bar in performance, protection, and styling in the golf industry.
"We are thrilled to make a deal that joins us with one of the most professional golf clubs in the country," said Tony Swinnerton, Club Car Business Development Manager. "We thrive on building relationships with other efficient and dynamic companies, and are delighted with our new association with Houghwood golf club".
Local support for the agreement will be provided by Peter Earl, Sales Manager of Oakleys Golf Buggies.
